Glacier Capital S.à r.l. is a Luxembourg private limited company acting as General Partner of Luxembourg special limited partnerships (sociétés en commandite spéciale) reserved for well-informed investors. Investors participate in the partnerships as Limited Partners.
We run two distinct strategies. The absolute-return strategy seeks positive returns across derivatives, indices, equities, commodities and currencies, long and short, with low correlation to equity markets. Capital preservation comes first: shallow drawdowns, and no loss over any three-year investment horizon as the objective.
The relative-return strategy is long-only multi-asset, using the full instrument set except short selling. Its primary objective is to make money across the cycle — absolute gains first, index comparison second — with limited correlation sought through asset mix and tactical hedges.
The company is managed by Marc Daubenfeld, a Luxembourg-based investor and the manager of Glacier Capital S.à r.l., a CSSF-registered alternative investment fund manager (Article 3 AIFMD).
